I’ll give you a hint. It’s NOT lavender.

Dear Meredith,

What is your favorite color?

Arianna

Dear Ariana,

Oh, how I adore the simplicity of this question. One look at my fabulous hair should answer this for you. Green.

Why? Because green is the color of life, darling. It’s also the color of my favorite gemstone, the jade. It’s said to draw love. Not that I’m looking for love. It’s hard to look for anything when I have so much work on my plate.

Which I should get back to right now…

Tribal Magic

*Kinda Spoilery Post*

Dear Meredith,

My question is. . . why does everyone in the Amazon┬áhave MP? Are they like that because they believe in “tree spirits” or┬ásomething?

Thanks!

Caroline

Dear Caroline,

Smart girl. Which agent are you under? Are you happy with her? If you ever want to switch, give me a ring. I like thinkers.

What you said is right on. When my client, Desi, travels to the Amazon, she finds that the villagers in the tribe she visits are able to see the bubble. These people live in a place far removed from the rest of civilization. They’ve not been touched by contaminants like video games and *shudder* reality TV. Also, their world is far more organic (uh, it’s the AMAZON) and they’re spiritually connected to their surroundings.

Seriously, call me if you need representation. And keep the questions coming.

Bridesmaid Bits

Dear Meredith,

My Mum got engaged a few weeks ago and I’m a bridesmaid. I’m really
nervous about it – I’ve never been one before. Any tips??

Amber X

Dear Amber,

Welcome to my life. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Not that I WANT to be a bride, mind you. I look much better in black, and my green hair should be out and proud, not covered by a veil. I would, of course, get married to the right man, but my life is so very busy right now anyway. I hardly have time to answer this question, but I will. Just because I care, Amber.

The wonderful thing about being a bridesmaid is that the day is not yours. It is the bride’s. If you can focus on this, it’ll make some the hardships that may come (TEAL BRIDESMAID DRESSES) much easier to bare. Every wedding has its hiccups. If you trip while walking down the aisle, it might cause you a bit of embarrassment, but in the grand scheme of the day, it won’t mean much. And since it’s your mum, she’s just going to be happy to have you as a part of that special day. Make sure you do something extra sweet for her, like make a scrapbook with pictures of the happy couple. Something she can keep long after the cake has been cut.

One more thing–if you are under 16, I suggest you go light on the makeup. I hate to see these young girls with their faces painted until they’re unrecognizable. A little gloss, maybe a touch of mascara (waterproof for the happy tears), and your natural freshness is going to shine.

Enjoy the day. And tell your mum I’m happy for her. Really. No, really.

 Meredith

I want his number, 867-5309

Dear Meredith,

I have a crush on my sister’s boyfriend but he is 17. He always calls me “squirt” so I think he likes me too. Maybe not like like, but when I am older he could! I mean, when I am 18 he will be 22. And my sister doesn’t apprcetiate him and flirts with other boys! I wish I could just trade places with her.

Plz help! <3 Josie

Dear Josie,

This isn’t Freaky Friday. You aren’t your sister, you are you and that’s something wonderful right there (I’m assuming you are wonderful. You might be an annoying brat, but I’m in a good mood so that’s what you get). Also, seriously? The guy is SEVENTEEN. That is so out of your age bracket it makes me ill. The only time, ONLY time you can crush on a guy that old is when he is in one of those celebrity magazines, lounging on a couch and talking about his music and dream girl. Not that I read those. That’s a safe love interest because it’s not real. Sister’s much older boyfriend? Uh uh. Time for a new crush STAT.

Ta Ta,

 Meredith

Dear Whoever You Are:

If you’re reading this, that means you have enough Magic Potential to even know the Facade Agency exists. But don’t get a big head about it. I’ve set up this blog so I don’t have to keep answering the same questions every time I get a new sub. It gets old, girls. You can ask about the agency, but there is already a Frequently Asked Questions page you might want to check out first. I’m up for offering advice on everything from fashion (lavender is never a good idea), family (appreciate your parents) or boys (stay away from royals. Trust me. Heartache). So click on the sidebar over there and ask away. Every week, I’ll pick a question and give you some much needed tips. Straight up.

Ta Ta!

 Meredith
